SMS Texting Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 5th, 2026

The Community Resource Center of Stanwood Camano (gCRC,h gwe,h gour,h or gush) offers SMS messaging to provide updates and information related to our programs, services, and community resources.

By opting-in to receive SMS messages from the CRC, you agree to the following terms.

Types of Messages
Individuals who opt-in may receive text messages related to:
  • Appointment reminders
  •  Case management or service updates
  • Resource referrals and follow-ups
  • Program enrollment information
  • Community event notifications
  • Volunteer coordination
  • Service availability updates
  • Emergency or weather-related service closures

The CRC does not send third-party marketing messages, nor share your number with third-parties.

Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on your participation in the CRC programs or services. Typically, recipients may receive up to 4.8 messages per month.

Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Charges are billed and payable to your mobile carrier.

Opt-In
You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from the CRC by:
  • Providing your phone number during service intake or registration
  • Signing a consent form
  • Registering for programs or events
  • Submitting a request through our website

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to receive services.

Opt-Out
You may opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:

STOP

After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from the CRC unless you opt-in again.
