About the event

How does food help us connect with each other? Join us for a lively and fun conversation with three local voices who bring very different perspectives on the power of food to build community. You'll hear from Zach Abbey of Camano Farm Ashram, who grows it; Kristine Birkenkopf, co-founder and chef of SAAL Brewing Co., who creates spaces to gather around it; and Rebecca Jette, owner of Stanwood Cupcakes, who shares joy one cupcake at a time. Come for the stories, stay for the inspiration—and maybe even some delicious ideas!
