Celebrate National Parks with art. Learn how to use watercolor and other drawing media to do quick sketches of some of your favorite national parks. Artist instructor Molly Hashimoto will bring photos plus her own sketches and paintings of places near and far.

About the event
Celebrate National Parks with art. Learn how to use watercolor and other drawing media to do quick sketches of some of your favorite national parks. Artist instructor Molly Hashimoto will bring photos plus her own sketches and paintings of places near and far. You can choose your favorites: Mt. Rainier, North Cascades, Yosemite, Death Valley, Joshua Tree and Saguaro National Parks or bring your own. All supplies provided. Required registration capped at 25 participants. Seattle resident Molly Hashimoto's paintings and prints have been published for over 30 years as notecards, holiday cards, calendars and children’s books, and her block prints have been published in many calendars and notecard collections. Molly's books include Colors of the West: An Artist's Guide to Nature's Palette, Birds of the West: An Artist's Guide, and Mount Rainier National Park: An Artist's Tour. Molly's work has been exhibited at many PNW galleries.
