Explore the basics of affordable housing and how it supports people, communities, and local economies.
Affordable Housing 101 is an introductory session hosted by the Housing Consortium of Everett & Snohomish County, LISC Puget Sound, and the Community Resource Center of Stanwood-Camano. This workshop helps participants better understand what affordable housing is, who it serves, and why it matters for a healthy, thriving community.
The session will break down common myths and misconceptions, provide clear and accessible information, and create space for open conversation. Through a mix of presentation and interactive discussion, attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of affordable housing and the confidence to engage in future conversations and support local solutions.
