Welcome to Team CRC.

We are a Midlands-based bicycling group that seeks the enjoyment of bicycling.  We are comprised of new riders and experienced riders; fast and not so fast; tall and vertically challenged; all colors of hair and no hair.  We are single, married, with and without children and grandchildren.  We are uncommon people with a common love of cycling.

Our name, Team CRC stands for Cyclists Riding for C....., and this is where you come in.  We are all unique people with different beliefs and causes.  The "C" is whatever you want it to be.  You may ride for a Cause or Charity or a Cure or fight against Cancer.  You may ride for a Change or for Children.  You may ride for Christ.  Maybe you ride to support Carolina or Clemson.  Maybe you even ride for Cookies or Chocolate.  Whatever your "C" stands for, along it is something positive, we would love to have you join us.

We ride in support of one another as well as causes.  We encourage each other to improve their level of fitness and enjoyment.  We do not believe in riding alone for both safety and encouragement reasons.  Our rides are usually 2-3 times a week after work during the week, and 1-2 times on the weekend.  We mainly ride form April to October, but a few continue to ride through the colder months.  Our paces can run from 12-15 mph to 20+ mph.  As we said, we are different people with different abilities, but we are drawn by a common commitment.

We ride for our health, fellowship, and to benefit others.  We have been blessed with healthy bodies and, most of the time, healthy minds.  We enjoy supporting many different causes and charities through our riding.  We have members participate in the Tour de Cure (Diabetes), the MS-150 (Multiple Sclerosis), 24 Hours of Booty (Brain Cancer), and other charitable rides.
We host a MS-150 training ride in June.  We also participate in both Mount Marion and Mount Mitchell rides as well as the annual Governor's ride.  However, sometimes we do not ride, but we get together for dinner and fellowship.  We enjoy bicycling, but we have lives outside of cycling.

If any of this sounds appealing to you, please come join us for a ride.  We meet at Dutch Fork Middle School.
