The 2008 Mary Kay Ward Memorial ride took place on 3/29/08.  This ride was a fundraiser for the  American Cancer Society, specifically breast cancer, which took the life of Mary Kay, one of our CRC team members, two years ago. 

For the ride, the temperature was a pleasant 65 degrees with a light tailwind for the first half of the 60-mile, rolling-countryside route.  However, that tailwind turned into a more relentless headwind for the final half of the ride!  I chose not to ride my bicycle, but rode the motorcycle so I could set up in various locations in order to shoot these photos to post on our site.  I hope you enjoy them.  - Ralph  (For downloadable, printable copies, go to www.flickr.com and search for "vrider ward" (w/o quotes).  (Also please write me at Vrider97@gmail.com with names of people I don't have posted.)
